One hectic typical workday — You are so busy with your current workload when this certain document was handed to you by your boss for you to sign.  You being the ever-obedient-subordinate signed it without wasting a minute to glance what that was.  Afterwhich you handed back the said papers.

And then a couple of days later you found out that what you signed was actually a binding contract with your current employer, a bind that lasts til mid-next year. HAHA.

I can't believe a friend fell into this! ARGH!

Trip back home

Exactly a year ago I was touring the main city of Singapore with my boss.  It was the day that we travelled back to Philippines from our 3-month work in Germany.  Our original flight schedule was supposed to include only a couple of hours' stopover at Changi International Airport, then from there the connecting flight to Manila.  But we decided to change our flight from 11:40pm to 5:00pm instead, so that we could take a tour of the city in the morning til afternoon (we arrived there at around 6am).  And hopefully get an extra stamp in our passports but just to find out later that it is not possible hehe!

It was a memorable day, to be able to see the famous Merlion and their main business district (just like our very own Makati).  And to somehow get a 'look and feel' of their culture… Working there for a few years could be an honest option, IMO, if you want to work abroad without the dreaded culture shock.  I was expecting to see Chinese-looking folks but no, people there look just like us hihi ;-)

It was a great place to visit after all,  too bad Sentosa Park is not included in our tour.  Hope I could come back soon.

  This is what you get from staying late in the office on a friday night.  You get to sit back and actually appreciate a relaxing view of Makati right from your station. Then you will realize that your digicam is on your desk and started clicking off. ^_^

The breakfast that was..

Birthday was G-R-E-A-T!  I had what I fancied and nothing could be better than that.  Best bday so far :)

  Aug 25, Friday:  Videoke-turned-roadtrip with super friends til dawn.
            Saturday:  Slept the whole day. Literally.
            Sunday:  Had breakfast with my SO at Pancake House
                        and dinner with my family  @ Max's back home.
            Monday: 1st day of my 24th year.  Black forest was the best! 
                        Thanks to my gurlfriends at work.
            Tuesday:  Unlimited seafoods at Dampa-Macapagal with mean gurls.  Too stuffed that night.
            Wednesday:  Busy at work.
            Thursday:  August celebrants' treat at the office.

There you have it, my week-long bday bash ;-)
I'll write more about it later! I got a deadline to beat  *Geeky stuff.  Codes galore.*
