Anyone Can Cook!
Thursday, August 23, 2007Ok, Ratatouille's still in my system. Pixar has made yet another classic, next to The Incredibles and Finding Nemo. I was so inspired to cook more after watching it. In fact, right after the movie, Jun and I stormed the bookstore at the ground floor of MidValley just to rummage for cookbooks hahaha! There we found countless of choices, but opted for 1) Simple Stir-fry and 2) Home-style Filipino Dishes (Yup, they do have quite a number of Filipiniana books there).
Then the next day, I was really motivated to improve my cooking that I bought a new wok. This time, it is Teflon-made, which they say is an authentic non-stick pan so I bought it even though it was a bit expensive.
And needless to say what is next… and owe it to joane for posting her cookings… BUT, be it known, that this is NOT my first attempt to cook, ok? Stir-fried beef with broccoli is actually one of my favorite dish to cook. Plainly because I miss North Park's version of it… so I'm trying in vain to copy it. I know mine has still a long way to go.. but here's a snap:
my very own stir-fried beef and broccoli
If you want my recipe just leave a message! It's really good BTW *wink*
