Acceptance

Thursday, November 23, 2006

What will you do if you have 25 days left before flying off to another foreign country where you will spend at least the next 12 months of your life?  How will you spend the remaining days here in Phils?

Me?  My utmost plan is to spend them all out with my closest family members and friends.  Wala ng pahinga.  Every day is precious.  Not an hour is to be wasted whining bout my leaving.  This is my choice in the first place.

There is a long weekend coming up… I'm thinking of going up to Baguio or south to Puerto Galera.  Not sure which will push through.  Waaah.  Basta quality time na yun hehe.

25days to go. Oh well.

Countdown!

Tuesday, November 14, 2006

After too much thinking of things, I finally decided on taking the job in Malaysia.  Unfortunately though, they want me to start there on the 18th of December.  After all the plea with their HR for me to start on January, I fin'ly gave up and now starting to accept that I am going to spend the holidays there… much to my disappointment.  The offer is a full-time employment by the way… and the idea of myself settling there is not yet sinking in… I guess the countdown is on:

34 days to go:
    - Called up my bestfriends, Boo and Sol. *TJ*
    - Settled my insurance issues with my agent.
    - Very unproductive in the office.
    - Sigh.

33 days to go:
    - Settled my brother's requirement to get a passport
    - Researched on our local bank's partners in Malaysia for my future remittances
    - Meet Au, Ate Rueth and Oti for dinner — saying goodbye sure is tough!
    - Finalized papers to be sent back to MY tomorrow.

-BTW, tomorrow is the day that we are going to sign the offer contract… waaah! (And I fear flu is going to surface tonight.  I'm really sick as of the moment :-( )

27 days to go:
    - filed my resignation letter today.
